Tech62 was founded by Dr. John Mercier. When developing the company, Tech62 had several principles in mind. First and foremost, they wanted to continue to serve the nation by providing the government access to a highly-trained staff who always implement the industry’s best practices. To support this, our staff carry a variety of professional credentials, including PE, PMP, CHP, DABR and advanced degrees.
The next goal was to provide the government better solutions at cost-effective rates. As a small company, Tech62 offers clients the superb expertise that would be expected from national laboratories and major corporations without the costly overhead associated with these types of establishments. With the expertise of a mission-centric firm like Tech62, organizations can achieve invaluable solutions even in resource-constrained environments.
Finally, our founder had a goal to help develop the next generation of healthcare and national security professionals. In this regard, Our firm continues to recruit and mentor early and mid-career professionals and provide them with a corportate culture and experiences to further develop their expertise.
Leadership
Leading our team at Tech62 is Dr. John Mercier, President of Tech62 and the company’s founder. The retired Army Colonel and Bronze Star recipient possesses an exceptional reputation in the national security community and has developed valuable relationships with technology and science affiliated universities, professional organizations, national laboratories, study houses, and fellow federal contractors. The primary focus for Tech62 in the national securty mission space is combating weapons of mass destruction (CWMD).
Dr. Mercier also has a long and successful history in providing full service medical and health physics services and staffing solutions. Tech62 executes dozens of professional services contracts in radiation safety, diagnostic imaging, nuclear medicine imaging, radioactive material licensing, radiation oncology dosimetry, radiation therapy physics, nuclear decommissioning, and related nuclear sciences.
